Librarian
PK, Kindergarten and 1st Grade students borrow 1 book a week. Along with checking out books, students learn proper care of books. Students who return books may borrow a different book. Students who do not return books cannot check out another book.
Our students visit the library once a week for 30
minutes
The First Grade students may choose to read To someone, With someone or read Independently, TWI. The students may then take a comprehension test on the computer on the book that was read. Points are earned for each question answered correctly. Every 4-6 weeks the students may choose to spend some, none or all points earned at the A.R. store located in the library.
